Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hello everyone,
so lousy weather here in ma, so must be a day for inside work. i have been using my passport detector with cigarette plug in and coily wire over the dash. not pretty but works just fine. i like the hardwire/ignition switched operation, and high mounting by the rear view mirror. much easier for me to see, better detector view out the front, more difficult for others to see. so i went about it. but not before using the search function on this board. well easy as can be the optional, which i dont have, telephone has a connector under the front console. this was best for me as my detector has a dc/dc converter that would not fit in the overhead sunroof location. wow, two choices documented by this forum. love it. connected to the underconsole telephone wiring, ran the detector wire up the a-pillar and to the detector. done. looks great. works great. this forum is great. oh too many greats!
hi Ferdinand, mine is quiet and quite reliable. yes, older than my oldest daughter!
function12, can you share your experience with a v1? as you can see i am quite happy with passport. thanks!
V1 can be chatty but once you get the arrows you will NEVER go back. You no longer have to have your head on a swivel looking for the cops. There is some programing that you can do to the V1 to cut down the chatty falses. I live in Houston and there is a lot of falses out there.
