So my idea was putting an RCA -> jack adapter, and the jack cable back into the cabin, and then using a BT to jack dongle.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, I'm looking to add Bluetooth audio to my PCM1. There seems to be a few solutions out there but I am looking for something cheap and reversible. I noticed the CD changer outputs an RCA signal to the head unit. So my idea was putting an RCA -> jack adapter, and the jack cable back into the cabin, and then using a BT to jack dongle. Has anyone tried this? My main worry is how can I route a jack cable from the trunk to the inside of the car, since the dongle needs to be powered on manually. BR, Alex
