Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

They look like Carrera lightweight wheels

POST 3Original post

the car in your avatar appears to show MY02's or Carrera 5 spoke possibly fitted with spacers if on your C4 http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

POST 5Original post

My 03 C4 has these Stock, and no spacers. 8" in the front 10" in the rear (width) If you ever have the rubber off them they are impressively light..

I think they are just called 'carrera'? Yeah, they are the lightest factory 18s, unless maybe the hollow twists are, it depends on width. Both amazing wheels. if you are concerned with weight, (we're taking ounces, but hey, unsprung weight is responsible for an epidemic of dead feeling appliances masquerading as cars) the original base 996.1 'Carrera 2' launched with 17" wheels of the same name. The 18" version are called turbo twists. I know, it confuses me as well. Reference https://wassergekuhlt.online/guides/wheel-guide/ . I have these 17" Carrera 2 'turbo twists' for my vredestein winters. And here's the Carrera wheels, in 18" Apples and oranges of course. 18s and more width with an inch more rubber and less sidewall flex that low profile gives a much different feel than the opposite on 17s. I preach 17. Try it, you'll like it. The extra sidewall reduces nvh. For daily driving, the stock ride height and b4s on 17s are awesome. Ground clearance! 17s are lighter, cheaper by a lot (to get light as street 17s, you need forged 18s), and good tires are cheaper. Not much, but a little bit helps. Coffee money😎. My theory falls apart for the track, if you're chasing lap times. But on track, 17s make it easier to enjoy some tail out action as well. Me, I would prefer to track a 2 Litre than a modern gt3. They are just too fast for an old man. Maybe if I were a younger better driver I would change my tune. This is mostly armchair daydreaming tho. Anyone with a 2 Litre and a gt3, call me🥴. Anyway, OP, those are lovely wheels. Very modern but understated. Pure class. Porsche make (or their OEM do) some of the best wheels.
