Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

If you are actually listening to the CD than this obviously isn't the case, but my aux is run through the CD, so every time the CD comes to an end and has to restart I get about 3 seconds with no audio.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Since I bought my car (4S 2003) this summer, every once in a while when listening to music through the CD-player, the sound disappears for a second or a half. Theres no logic to when it happens, it can occur when driving or standing absolutely still. Ive come to terms with it and it really doesnt bother me that much BUT. Today something new happened on my way to work. Suddenly when listening to radio, the sound went berserk and the volume and bass increased dramatically. When turning the volume button I notice that its become extremely sensitive and the bass cuts really really bad. What can be the issue here? Im totalt lost 😞

This may sound stupid, but have you verified it isn't happening at the end of the CD? If you are actually listening to the CD than this obviously isn't the case, but my aux is run through the CD, so every time the CD comes to an end and has to restart I get about 3 seconds with no audio. Took me a while to figure this out.

The occasional sound loss happens during songs and with different cds.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
