Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

29 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have no love for the LN skid plate for a multitude of reasons - so, I'm giving mine away. It will come with the isolation pads I was running to get rid of the horrific resonance it generates, they do a good job. If I have any of the material left over, I'll throw it in the box so you can make some more. It's rattle canned flat black. Post a pic or pics of your favorite other cars / bikes / anything with engine you have owned as your in and I'll use a random number generator at some point to pick winning post. Winner should be prepared to pay actual UPS Ground commercial account shipping cost from 02062.

POST 2Original post

Thanks Zbomb, Skip plate looks great, I would like to enter to get a chance to win it hehe... Here is my current winter DD "beast", 2011 Jeep JKU. Thanks again for your kind offer... Cheers,

POST 4Original post

I will enter the contest as I have the LN deep sump ready to install but havent gotten the plate yet. Here is my 72 vette with a 427 Tri Power and a Tremec 5 speed.

POST 5Original post

Ill play along and no shipping needed, as you are like 1 hour from me. And Ronin, which I just picked up.

POST 6Original post

I'd like to enter as I'm going to be getting a deep sump soon and I'm used to driving higher clearance cars. As an example, here is a pic of my 1979 International Scout on top of Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Yes, snow. Yes, Hawaii. 13,796' ASL. Note the cloud level in the background. Circa 1988. This Scout had the 345" engine that produced somewhere around 160 HP (ah, the malaise era...). My friends and I had a lot of fun in that truck. I did not have fun paying for the gas. My dad once accused me of buying beer at gas stations and laundering it as gas purchases.

POST 7Original post

I'd like a chance to win. Thanks for the great post! The new addition to the collection that I have fallen in love with. 944 Turbo.

POST 8Original post

Neat Idea. The 'shortcut' to town is through some gravel logging roads where a skidplate would be comforting. Heres my ebike (5yr daily driver): Santa Cruz Heckler, 52v20ah 7kw'ish, cycloidal gearbox (Tangent Motors) , 8" of travel (Fox40/DHX5), 6 piston 225mm brakes f/r

Jason you could pick the best candidates and let the members Vote for the winner. It may even be more entertaining than watching a bat auction. When its your next track day??

Thank you. You guys get it. I remember seeing the movie years ago and always wanted a D2 S8 because of it. One of the best car chase movies ever. This one is a 2001, full alcantara interior, solar panel roof, and GPS. It flies on the highway. I lucked out. A 2 owner car with 86,000 miles.

POST 17Original post

i had an original ur Quattro. That car was awesome. Buy then a bunch of the Audi cars had all kind of issues, overheating, oil leaks, etc. Anyway, R8 V10 gated shifter, the best and easiest to drive spercar, at the limit that i had ever driven, Watkins glens two days, I probably had a total of 4 hours on this car at the track.

POST 19Original post

I'm just here to share a photo of a non-porsche. I miss this car.

those where nice. I drove restored a few. From that era my favorite was my M635CSI, yes a euro shark with individual throttles, no bad 300 hp, straight pipe for an 85. Now the balance and nimble feeling on my 996 is unmatched. A big plus high speed feel, i was scared of my shark at 125, laughing my *** off with my 996 at 160. I sold my shark in 2015, I kept the car cover which Im now using in my 996, a little too long, width is ok.

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Interest seems to have subsided - I will get the winner picked tonight.

POST 22Original post

Very generous of you. Nice thing to read. No interest here though, I’m too far away, even though my oil pan kisses my driveway now and then if I forget about the annoying frost heave that didn’t recede.

POST 23Original post

I dont want it but would like to leave these here.
