Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Took my 02 C4S to an event at the Summit Point Raceway, near Charlestown, West Virginia. It was the first track day I have ever attended. If you are in the mid Atlantic area and are looking for a track day, I would highly recommend it.
The staff was great. It is a great bargain $250 for four twenty minutes track sessions with an instructor in the right seat plus skid pad work with their cars. Having an instructor is very helpful. It is a lot harder to do than you think. I learned a tremendous amount and got a lot better throughout the day.
As far as the car goes, it was amazing. Porsches really are a race car you can drive on the street. I did around 40 laps of very hard driving and is not in any way worse for wear. I cannot say enough about the turbo brake package on the C4S. There were a lot of newer and much more expensive Mercs, Audis and BMWs and from what I could tell they all eventually had at least some brake fade. The Porsche, however didn't. The turbo brake package really is incredible. The brakes were so hot you could smell them from a mile way. But they never faded.
If you own one of these cars, you owe it to yourself to take it to the track once in a while. They are built for it and if they are properly maintained will come through it just fine. And you will have a ball guaranteed.
Check out PCA - Potomac region. They have a HPDC in September at Summit Point. The DE's they run are fantastic. Porschefest was just last weekend at Summit Point. VIR is Labor Day weekend. The last weekend in October is a two day DE event at SP on the main track. Also- last weekend of September is the PCA club race with advance DE.
I was in group 1A. And I saw your Targa. Red right? You have a beautiful car. I was parked a couple of rows behind you in a very dirty at the time seal grey 994 C4S.
I saw your car. I think I remember thinking "kinda dusty"
I was in 1b. Thanks for the kind words; the prior owner kept her in good shape, I just try and maintain what he did.
Glad you had fun. That was my third trip to Summit Point and I have generally had a great time there. Shoot me a pm if you are going back. Always great to have some people to chat with during the downtime.
I figured why wash it and just get it dirty again. I washed the hell out of it Saturday, so it looks much better now. And I will shoot you a PM next time I go.
Sounds good. I found some videos of your run group on youtube. Didn't see your car in there. Did see about a million different lines and people refusing to let people pass though. Hope you found some clean air to run in out there.
