Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking to upgrade stock exhaust on my 996. Any good sound bites and/or advice on quality exhaust are welcome. Thx!

POST 3Original post

I have a friend looking to sell a used 996 Tubi exhaust. I believe the car it came off of was low mileage car traded into the dealer, and the new owner wanted the stock exhaust. I have to confirm what year. He's looking to sell it relatively cheap though. PM if interested.

POST 4Original post

I'll second the Fister mod. Absolutely no drone (quiet even) on the highway, but comes to life with a beautiful sound as soon as you put your foot in it. All for the fraction of the price of aftermarket mufflers.

POST 5Original post

Yep - agreed. Love the sound and you can't beat the price.

POST 6Original post

The Fabspeed exhaust is amazing!! Since installing them last summer, i have a permenant grin on my face every time i fire up the engine.. good luck

Looks like you've got a nice ride there, but kind of hard to see.... Just want to make sure you're in compliance with Rennlist rules & regulations for posting initial pics. If you can find a nice used aftermarket exhaust that would save you a few bucks. The extra benefit of going true aftermarket is you'll shed about 20lbs off the rear of the car....

POST 9Original post

I received a few PM's. When I get in touch with him I will respond to you guys as they came in. Thanks, Mickey

POST 11Original post

I've had the Fabspeed for about six months. Love it!
