Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am feeling out an LS swap in my 911 and figured I would use the old motor to fund future upgrades/conversion.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello! I am feeling out an LS swap in my 911 and figured I would use the old motor to fund future upgrades/conversion. Any thoughts on an appropriate price range for this motor and what I should list it for? The thing is in great shape and I would even be willing to sell the TPC turbo kit with it for the right price. Anyone sold their drop out on here before and what was the best place to get bites? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

If the engine seen boost, it is worth less than one that didn't and will be antpugh sale.

POST 3Original post

Typically around $8K-$12K depending on mileage and history. And therein lies the problem - most folks wouldn't touch an M96 motor that's been boosted. Or they are going to want a serious discount.
