Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, Looking to source a bumper skin for the one that accidentally has a small hole now! I live near Rancho Cordova (I think it is the recycled car capital of the world), but am wondering if anyone has experience with a good 996 yard. TIA

POST 3Original post

Oklahoma Foreign has been good to me in the past.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Rear- Arena red if I really get lucky!

POST 6Original post

Parts Heaven is the best in Northern California. Not too bad a drive from the Sacramento area. https://www.partsheaven.com/

POST 7Original post

On more than one occasion, I've found the pricing from Porsche-centric salvage yards to be as much or more then new parts from a OEM discounter like Sonnen or Sunset... Caveat emptor If you can score a used painted part in the right color in great condition, that would of course hugely reduce the cost vs. OEM unpainted...
