Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, wasn't this a fun one to find. Pull my baby out of winter storage, get a fresh oil change and find my 1 year old side skirts sagging from underneath. The kit was put on flawlessly and looks awesome and is in solid place on the body but the underneath section must have sagged due to warmer weather. I am in Seattle so it's not like it's crazy hot but I guess I'd have to say the Betterbodies Motorsport side skirts are not the best choice for longevity. The car is at my body shop guy and they'll figure out a way to get it sorted out I am sure. They did nothing wrong witht the install but the poly-material of the skirts is a bad design. The front chin and rear diffuser as well as the wing show no issues and I am sure will not but the underneath part of the side skirts sags in the warmer weather without additional support. Such 3rd world problems I have, lol...... Oh well, I live and learn something new each day

POST 2Original post

Not sure how your covers were installed but I believe you are supposed to use these clips . They slide onto the pinch weld seam and then screws go through the cover into the clips . https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...hoCK7cQAvD_BwE

POST 3Original post

What the heck is wrong with you. Just taking it out storage now? Summer is almost over.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 18933522

Yeah, these aren't P skirts so they are a one piece poly-something mould and have no center-underneath supports. They will have something soon though and then I'll have some free time to log some road trips with the girlfriend And yeah, summer has been a mess with work. I haven't even had a summer for much bike riding or flyfishing.... It's all wrong for sure, lol.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Resolved, lol. Body shop straightened out and glued a bracket to the underneath section of the skirts and able to support it without screws everywhere. Yay! I'll be at Magnolia car show on Sunday if anyone is in the Seattle area. Come say hi!
