Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yes, it is easy to just replace with savanna beige parts but I want to try and keep it as original and unique as possible.

Im in the process of restoring a 1999 Zenith blue Carrera Coupe, auto with the Savanah Beige interior with factory wood trim. The wood trim has unfortunately cracked over the years. See pics. Wanted to see what my options are as theyre pretty rare very difficult to source. Any creative ways to deal with this?
Welcome to the party!
I have slowly been trying to source the wood trim pieces and it has been tough.
I have had success with getting the regular bits and having them dipped with the correct/closest looking wood match. The toughest part was the trim that goes on the top of the day by the front windshield.
The batwing is dipped and so is the top piece, it cost me about 150 to have both dipped and I am happy with the results.
No, I took it to a shop that dips rims, guns, etc. the guy was great to work with. He tested/tried different burl wood combinations and color samples until we got as close to the match in the car. It was not perfect. After he dipped them he gave the a clear coat to give it that glossy look. It’s not wood, but it was a fraction of the price.
These are the guys who can renew your trim, I sent the trim for an old Mercedes and their work is amazing.

I think someone posted that company before. I called one and they did not do Porsche, but it’s worth checking.
