Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Had watched Flat6's videos on preventing bore scoring which recommended injector replacement, so doing that too.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Now that my project XJ8 is running great, I'm going to drop the engine to put in my UAOS. Had watched Flat6's videos on preventing bore scoring which recommended injector replacement, so doing that too. LNengineering has a set of 6 new Bosch for $198.00. Ad reads, "
Buy OEM and save hundreds over genuine." This confused me so I emailed LN. Exact same part. Means comes in a Bosch box and not a Porsche box.

And that was just a thought, not something I've done myself. I have the 03 so mine was a one for one swap. Sometimes things look easier when presented by people with more skill than myself.
Pelican has them for $39.50 each so $237 for six. ECS Tuning has them for $38.28 each. Try googling by both the Porsche number (

And the Bosch number

Porsche does not make them they buy them from Bosch, who probably has them made in China these days.
[QUOTE=SoCal911t;17438966]RM European has them for $30.97 ($185.82 for a set of six).
Thanks for the heads up, I had seen them earlier but noticed they only had 5, decided it was to good to pass on so 5 are on the way.
You might want to read this report from Hartech (UK) on the subject of bore scoring and Leakey injectors, among other things. Contradicts LNE, They don’t sell injectors, and they do work with the highest level of engine builders (F1, etc.).
