Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Stock 2003 C2 Coupe, just recently installed Bilstein B4 Touring 22-147448 struts with my stock springs. Recommendations on how to lower by 10-15mm, links if possible. Thanks guys!

POST 2Original post

M030 RoW springs. 02+ coupe: Front 996.343.531. 21.504 (last 3 digits are the ones to check on websites for RoW), Rear 996.333.531. 71.504 Elephant Racing has them for $700 for set. So not cheap anymore. I had them for 2,000 miles before replacing them with Eibach Pro. For me, not enough drop or stiffness. Real nice springs for DD.

POST 3Original post

My car (40th Anniversary) came with the M030 suspension (not RoW) and I'll be doing coilovers relatively soon. Happy to sell you the springs at good price if you'd like. PM me if interested. Here is how the car sat for reference with stock wheels to give you a better idea at what to expect with settled springs:

Yes, I'll take them! PM me with the price please...

POST 5Original post

You could always go ghetto and just cut off a portion of your existing springs

POST 6Original post

or add bags of sand in frunk.....

Or use these: Amazon Amazon They're reversible too! Please don't! Mr. Gasket used to sell these...way back when(1980s) I installed a set of these for someone. I got paid to install them, and paid to remove them soon after...the owner decided lowering spring would be better...thankfully! I still have them in my junk bucket because the owner didn't want them back. We used to have lots of people buy stuff at SuperShops and bring it to us to install.

POST 9Original post

A little OT, but these are moderate lowering springs. Here are the paint marks on my old RoW M030 springs. Might come in handy to someone researching the arcane way Porsche IDs their springs. Green and white (almost gray) under orange for fronts, green and white under green for rears

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
