But now that I'm replacing my Taco deck with a GT3RS style deck, I won't be doing that.

Suggestion

I think I'll want the lower downforce of the Taco spoiler...or perhaps I'll use my factory deck with the automagic spoiler.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want cover my rear scoops on my 99 aero does anyone make a drop in cover for this

POST 2Original post

I've never seen a drop-in. My Taco spoiler doesn't have them, but my new GT3RS wing/rear deck does. They're attached by wire that's embedded in the fiberglass deck. I'm considering removing them as I don't want anything restricting the airflow. I did see on Youtube where a shop used silicone to attach some. I have some gutter grills that I considered cutting to fit and attempting to silicone onto my Taco deck. But now that I'm replacing my Taco deck with a GT3RS style deck, I won't be doing that. Although I do plan on keeping my Taco deck for the next Texas Mile. I think I'll want the lower downforce of the Taco spoiler...or perhaps I'll use my factory deck with the automagic spoiler.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can send me a pic please If you remove them and want to get rid of them lmk Mike

POST 4Original post

You could just purchase some mesh grille on Amazon for $15 bucks, cut to size and attach with hot glue. That way it's easily reversible. I've done this on my turbo front bumper with lots of success. Temps have been solid in the middle of a swampy DC summer. GT cars have this too. Some people say that it affects the radiators negatively but not having anything there and having junk fly in and clog up your radiators has a far greater negative effect. I thought my were clean until I took off the bumper and looked between the radiator and AC condenser.....
