Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Hi fellas, I felt it was about time to have my car star in some car ****...
If your curious of how they sound WOT without cats, mufflers, etc. Here ya go.
A pulley is going. It sounds horrible under 1,800 rpm or so, that tick/squeal noise. I was not driving, additionally this was filmed on closed course; please do not drive like this on public roads (disclaimer).
Nice car - but the neutral revving just makes my skin crawl. The 996 sounds better being flogged when it's moving...
My 996 has been known to pop a wheel off the ground from time to time - it's a C4, so it doesn't flex much...
My ears are bleeding with just my headphones. LOL.
Love the red stripe in your interior and painted seatbacks.
You should've been able to take that corner 2mph faster since you had your rear spoiler in race mode.
Yup. I run straight pipes at the track.......... and that's pretty much it. Gets your blood boiling. But most of all, it lets you hear what your engine is doing with a bunch of loud cars around you.
KK and everyone else, it is not too much for the street. I dd it just like it is. Yes It is loud, but I'm still able to talk on the phone (ear things, for hands free) and have a convo with passengers. I've also deleted the rear seats, so less sound deadening.
I don't think my neighbors are too fond of it at night, but we are all at least 2 acres apart and loud cars are just part of the Rogers Household, so I think they are uesd it it by now, however this is by far the loudest in the sub and that we've had.
That's not too bad of a sound really.
Going to do that on mine at some point, under $200 for a cheap set of bypass tips sounds like too much fun to not at least try.
Plus it'd be really nice to hear MY car rather than all the road noise and stuff (not from the car but cars around me) with the top down.
