Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So my '99 cab top has a leak on the drivers side at the front corner near the windshield, at least that is where the drops of water enter the cabin in heavy downpours. The thing is, I reached up between the roof liner and the roof and and felt wetness up inside the top maybe 4-5 inches from where I see the water coming in, so I think the leak may be in a different place than where the water drips. When I look at the top I don't see any obvious holes in it, could there be a pinhole causing the issue? Anyone else ever experience a water leak? TIA!

POST 2Original post

See if you can slide the seal up or down a little. Also, if it's only happened once just roll the window up and down and shut the door again. I had an Alfa Romeo that you basically had to wear a rain coat anytime there was bad weather. Never had an issue with a 911 but have heard little adjustments can solve the problem.

POST 3Original post

Never had an issue except for drains and the delaminating rear window, and my top is pretty old. Put it in service position and inspect the seals very closely. That's the best I can come up with.
