Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have seen two for sale red and silver convertibles both running but automatics in both cases they wanted around 14,000 for them one of the cars was in Hawaii.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got bored and pulled the carfax. Car was religiously serviced at Jim Ellis Porsche Atlanta until 4/6/21 and then offered for sale 4/9. The fourth owner had it from 03 until now.
wonder if anyone has an it at Jim Ellis and can see what was found on 4/6, might shed light on why it was put up for sale s few days later.
Had anybody seen one with that kind of mileage??? I have seen two for sale red and silver convertibles both running but automatics in both cases they wanted around 14,000 for them one of the cars was in Hawaii. One had 222,000, miles the other had 247,000 miles.
Why spend so much money to make it new? Just fix it and drive it as it is. The wear and tear of the car is part of the it's history and tells the tale.
Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first 500,000 mile 996. This 996 will be
that 996. Better than it was before. Better...stronger...faster.
I'm disappointed in the inspection I paid for. The whole point was to see if it runs and drives but the windows were taped and they didn't enter the car. Waste of $120
Wow, the patina on that one looks awesome!
I wish it were local, I'd consider picking it up if cheap enough.
That would be the perfect 911 for driving in bad weather and parking in tight spaces in downtown Houston.
Too bad they can't cut the tape, do a full inspection, and reseal.
But I understand the liability they're trying to avoid.
Why can't Copart do the re-sealing for a few bucks.
When you contacted them, they should have told you that if the doors/windows were taped shut they couldn't enter them.
It's evident in the Ad, which I would have looked at to see if there was going to be an issue.
That would have been common courtesy, even if they lost the job.
Never mind, I just re-looked at the Ad.
It doesn't have the tape on the windows.
They didn't know it would be an issue.
That was a generic blanket statement on my part. Assuming spent motor, brakes, tires, and likely transmission. Probably interior as well. Bought at a low enough price, could be a rewarding project for someone. Anywhere from running nicely to full on resto. Whatever makes the new owner happy.
It's been relisted, with a lower Buy It Now. Hammer drops Friday [again]

Really wish I could have gotten a mechanical inspection.
If you're buying as an individual and not as a business registered with Copart and since it is a titled vehicle in Georgia, you have to go through a broker. So you'll have both Copart fees and broker fees. Guessing another $1,000 to $1,500. Also, even if you're local and have a car trailer, Copart requires haul off by a professional.
I have purchased a vehicle from Copart as an individual but I did have to go through a broker. I used A Better Bid. The final bid on the vehicle was $10,400. After copart and the broker fees the final invoice was $11,708 ($1,058 Copart fee, $200 broker transaction fee, $50 broker documentation fee)
I was local to the vehicle and Copart and was able to pick up my vehicle with my truck & car trailer, you do not need to be a professional hauler.
It must be a GA thing, because here in TX you can just show up with your trailer and pick up your purchase.(have to go through a broker for Texas "blue" titled vehicles, but salvage titles you can buy direct)
My neighbor has bought at least a dozen or so vehicles since 2017 from Copart in Houston.
No 996s though...nicest were Cayenne, C6 Vette, C3 Corvette, 69 Camaro...
