Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought the decking before I installed my four-post lifts.
Leading evidence: 'Install four-post lifts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'racedeck will hold up better' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Install four-post lifts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suspected cause
I suspect the Racedeck will hold up better, but I would not expect it to hold up a lot longer than 8 years (maybe 10 years or so).
Recommend leveling the floor first, as i have heard

Thanks, I would recommend leveling the floor first, as I have heard that tiles on an uneven floor will tend to creak and move with the pitch.

Suggestion
The only change I would make would be to have my face made into tiles and put them down.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After years of painting, staining and covering my garage floor with rubber mats and pads, I decided to install a RaceDeck flooring system. Installation was easy and the colors and flooring options are great. I went with the Freeflow floor style to help dissipate water and slush during the winter.
Overall I think it looks great.
Looks great! I've been trying to decide what to do with my garage floor. I've got some spots where water pools in the garage, so I really need to address those first with some sort of leveling product. The tiles you installed look very good.
Thanks, I would recommend leveling the floor first, as I have heard that tiles on an uneven floor will tend to creak and move with the pitch.
I was amazed at how much better it looks, even got a complement from my wife, and I haven't had one of those in about 20 years!
The tiles are open to the floor with about a 1/8" gap between the treds to allow water and dirt to pass through them and there are channels to allow water to pass under the tiles and out the end of the garage.
You can vacuum up accumulated dirty or hose down the garage on a sunny day to flush out any crap.
As for bugs, didn't give that much thought as I have the house sprayed for critters.
The floor looks awesome!
That shovel hanging over the front right quarter panel would scare the crap out of me though... I could imagine someone walking past, bumping the shovel...and...you know the rest
I installed the same style flooring in my garage about 8 years ago. I looked at Racedeck but ended up going with some cheaper no-name product. So, your results may be better than mine. In a lot of areas, the decking still looks good after 8 midwestern winters. But, I have tried to wash the gunk out from underneath with a very good power washer, but with only limited success. I think to get it really clean, you will eventually have to pull the tiles out, clean and then replace.
Also, I have 2 four-post lifts that sit on top of the decking, which makes it very susceptible to buckling when I open the garage doors and the sun hits the decking in the warmer months. So, if you pull in or back out of the garage while the decking is buckled a bit (it will buckle closest to the garage door, so you drive over the buckled part with both the front and rear axles), the tabs that hold the decking together will break. That has led to the first 3 rows of tiles nearest the garage doors now floating loose. They no longer buckle, but they get moved around easily.
At this point, I'm considering pulling all of the decking out and re-finishing my floor. I guess since I got 8 years out of it, it wasn't a total bust. The drainage tiles are very nice in the winter - the frozen gunk falls off the vehicles and melts overnight, so you don't have to track through much residue.
The stuff I bought was about 1/4 the price of Racedeck and it looks great, so it was very tempting to try it. I suspect the Racedeck will hold up better, but I would not expect it to hold up a lot longer than 8 years (maybe 10 years or so).
I bought the decking before I installed my four-post lifts. If I were doing it over again, I would remove the tiles that sit under the lift legs. It does not affect the performance of the lifts, but does exacerbate the buckling issue. And remember, your cars' tires on the decking will also create the buckling when the sun hits the tiles.
Be certain to leave more room around the edges of the garage than you think you'll need to compensate for the expansion of the tiles due to heating up. I think I left about an inch around the edges, but that wasn't enough.
Yeah,
The shovel isn't in the best of locations, but it's hanging in a very secure position and has been good for a year, but I'll take your advice and move it
Racedeck does ofer a decent discount to 6speedonline members. I placed cheap fabric landscape liner under my tiles and that stopped the clacking sound when you walked on them.
I have had the floor down for about two years. I don't have the free flow but it still drains pretty well with the slope of the floor. I really have zero complaints.
The only change I would make would be to have my face made into tiles and put them down. They can do custom logos so why not me?
