Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Which IMS bearing do I have? Dual-row or single? How can I determine that? I have a 1999 Carrera 4 thanks

POST 2Original post

This , another slim possibility is that it's the original engine and someone has replaced the IMSB with something other than the dual row.

POST 4Original post

Or, as in my 1999 C2 Cabriolet's case, the engine was replaced and it has the larger single row bearing.
