Hey, All. I just moved from Chicago to Los Angeles and drove my 40AE here last week. Pretty nice experience. I didn't do anything but check the tire pressure, top off the oil, and trust the integrity of the past 3 years we've been together. Drove like a dream. I posted a few videos and pics to the 996 owners' page on FB. I've needed to replace my clear bra for some time, as it's starting to peel away from a few areas. I did some research on Chicago places but decided to wait after I finalized my decision to move to LA and drive across the country. I'm in an AirBnB for the next month or two while I look for permanent residence, but found a few placed not too far to get the job done. Anyone in LA have experience with this shop?

Also a Chicago to LA transplant here! I’m new to my 996 (4 days!) but I have eight years in Los Angeles and happy to give you any city related tips if you like.

As far as fun roads go, while you're in the Mulholland Dr area be sure to hit Sunt Rd, Piuma Rd, and Tuna Canyon Rd. Those are our favorite when we're in town.
Sunset Blvd from Beverly Hills to PCH for cruising. Join PCA for great drives with the club members . Best indy shop is in Torrance in the "South Bay" which is a good place to live. Tony Callas is the owner of Callas Rennsport.
