Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I also used the side windows if someone calls me on my BT, it does greatly reduce wind noise tho the windscreen has a lot to do with it too.

My friend got a M-B SL55 and in it you can raise the rear quarter windows with the top down which further reduce wind buffeting with the windstop up. Kind of looks cool too.
Any way to override whatever in our cars keeps you from raising the rear windows when the top is down? Any reason not to?
A convertible with the side windows up? That sounds like something my mom would do.
OK, OK, I will admit to raising the passenger side window on my Miata just a few inches sometimes to lessen the buffeting when the top is down...but that's it.
It just doesn't "feel" like a convertible when the windows are up. I've only done it twice; I really hate to do it. In addition, I think it looks stupid when people drive around like that. It flows a little better in the SL55 because of the way the windows are shaped... but how are you supposed to kick back and hang your arm out the window when the window isn't open?
......and with the GF who doesn't want to mess up her hair or is chilly.
I also do it in the mornings so my work clothes don't smell like outdoors when I get to the office.
+1 for wife's hair or cool wearther... I also used the side windows if someone calls me on my BT, it does greatly reduce wind noise tho the windscreen has a lot to do with it too. Cheers.
With the windows and wind deflector up I can drive top down when the temp is as low as 40F. It also makes highway speeds more pleasant over long distances. And, of course, to protect the wife's new do.
