I had read here before that some of us had installed Third break light strobe , Where would be the best location to install so both third brake lights work by it ,or do I need two module?? any one have wire diagram for the main wires for the third brake lights. doing this on my 02 cab.

It is an interesting mod. I know that the new 991 will flash the 3rd brake light during hard braking as an added warning to drivers behind the car. BMW and Audi cars are doing similar things.

I put my module behind the light. I only did the top light. as I am not on the highway that much I dosn't matter. But I will be upgrading my unit to the "intelligent one" so I will put the "stupid" one in the retractable spoiler light. There is 2 wires. black and red. make sure you get a resistor or it will mess with your cruise control.

not sure, I have not got to that part yet. But if you look at LED upgrades you can buy one with resistor or one without.

Ok , modification is done and NO problems what so ever cruise control works fine. And NO resistor needed. Thanks for the all the help and suggestion .

check that your cruise control works 100%. mine is 60% on. it usually works when I don't need it.
