Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

He is negotiable. Obviously approaching a 996 Turbo price but if it can be brought down to $32K? Lots of options and is local. Does not have the IMS done.

Nice high option car. Get a PPI before deciding on offer price. If everything checks out offer 30 and go from there. Factor in IMS replacement cost if you plan on having that done. Good luck.
Yes it would be a $30k offer take it or leave it. No need to haggle these model years should be hitting listings if they haven't already. $30k or very close to it pending PPI results.
Not sure on owners. He has the maintenance records from I think 2002. He is a PCA member and not his first Porsche. 71k miles. Need to make sure on accidents - I think none
I'm not sure I could live with those seats on a daily basis.
They could always be changed out again though.
At his asking price, he is wanting to recoup some of his modification $, but that rarely happens in real life sales transactions.
OTOH, you could not duplicate it for $30K-$32K, so if it has what you want, see if you can make a deal.
Thanks for the replies. I also found this one that is local. Gonna try and see it today. I was wondering about those seats and the comfort level but the other upgrades look nice

They both look like good possibilities for you. The SY is a model year newer and has less miles. Condition inside and out, options and especially paper work for any repairs etc. is so important. Have you had a chance to drive the Porsches? GL with your search.
The mods/upgrades on the SILVER are the main reasons. And yes, the yellow is not just a LITTLE but way to flashy for me. But if yellow works for YOU, then go for it (plus it is priced less and mileage is also lower).
The rear retractable spoiler on the silver one appears to be broken as it is extended in all of the pics, even when parked.
Or, maybe he just is a MkI Aero wannabe!!
Here's a vote for the yellow one.
Its hard to tell how nice it is from the limited pics, but if it checks out, and if you like the bright color, go for it.
Cars in unusual colors are significantly more rare than those in common hues such as black and silver, etc.
This is good or bad depending on your point of view. Might be harder to resell, but when the right buyer appears it might command a higher price for those who want a color.
I personally will not consider black or silver, but most other COLORS are options for me.
I prefer the yellow but the silver one has the hard core options, if those appeal. One deciding factor for me might be if one has more solar damage. Dallas is famous for solar damage to the headlights, paint, rubber, and interior. If one was parked in a sunny lot at work every day and the other garaged most of the time, it should show by now with very careful inspection. I'd want the one that's still fresh, with no solar damage.
Thanks for the replies. I agree the silver is overpriced but if I could get it at $30k with all the mods might be worth it. However, I am not sure about the rollbar, seats, etc. I will have to see it in person soon. I did find out the yellow one had a minor fender bender that was not on carfax - the seller told me over the phone. It happened before he bought it. Not sure how I feel about buying one that has been in any accident. I will take a look regardless.
