Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't know if I have posted about this or not yet, so here goes... I am trying determine a clunk like sound coming from behind the driver's seat, I'm assuming suspension area. I only notice it at slow speed on more bumpy roadways. I would relate it to sounding like a golf ball bouncing between the fender and floor. I know this probably sounds really vague, but was hoping someone had gone through a similar issue and was able to solve the mystery. I purchased the car November 2019 and was given a detailed record of what has been done/upgraded/modified. Currently running 19' Avanteguard wheels. The suspension was updated in 2017 with Billstein B8 shocks, Eibach sway bars, shock mounts, lower control arms, rear bump stop and front shock top mounts. I know that not hearing the noise for yourself may be hard to give a suggestion, but Just thought I would throw this out there. Thanks in advance!

Don't know. One thing to check is to make sure the strut bolt is tight. Also make sure there really isn't anything floating around behind the seat on the floor.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
