On a side note, the 996 headlights look great in this shot. I really feel the mk1 headlights are getting better looking each year that goes by. Ingenious design!
Technically the thread is about the headlights and not the car itself and since the 986.1 and 996.1 share the same headlights the example is relevant to the discussion.
Wait, I think I missed the point of this thread...
This thread doesn't have enough examples of headlights for me to choose from, anyone have some they'd like to share in case we are considering an upgrade?
