Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Car sounds good and seems to be taken care of (at least cosmetically) including a clean engine bay.

Car is very clean with a few exceptions: minor rock chipping on front bumper, slight scraping on bottom of bumper, Porsche emblems in center of rims are missing.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I know there is so much that goes in to valuing a car and have been a long time lurker here - finally to the point where a purchase can be made.

The folks selling it don't know much about the car, but got it from a family friend who only owned it 6 months locally. They are licensed dealers (dealing in work trucks and vans) that seem to be doing this because they were asked. They have no idea of the x51 package or the IMS/RMS issues that may or not may not have been serviced. No service records (forgot to check the glove compartment for manual) and only one key.
Car is very clean with a few exceptions: minor rock chipping on front bumper, slight scraping on bottom of bumper, Porsche emblems in center of rims are missing. Tires seem pretty dang new (Falken FK452).
Car sounds good and seems to be taken care of (at least cosmetically) including a clean engine bay. Before I consider a PPI - any thoughts on pricing or concerns with the transmission and clutch work so early on in the life of the car?
General thoughts or concerns are appreciated. Thanks for putting up with another of these posts...
