Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2002 porsche C4S, recently i took the cluster out to work on it, I did not disconnect the battery when i took it out. I fixed the odometer **** that was broken. I recconected the cluster and i can hear a click near the cluster, not sure if it came from the cluster or the radio console. When i turned the car on, i m getting an airbag light on. I connected the durametric to reset the air bag fault code. The code is 1: Airbag warning light. Part number 996.618.219.01, that is the air bag module. I changed it, and the air bag light is still on. I can't seem to reset it. Not sure if the cluster went bad on me, or is there another solution for anyone that has gone thru this already. thanks for you help.

POST 2Original post

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...code-01-a.html This individual had your same problem with code 01. Solved by swapping to a different cluster, suggesting the problem was in the cluster itself. The last post has some troubleshooting suggestions.
