Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

So I walk out this morning to find that someone hit my car and house with at least 2 dozen eggs. I wash the car and discover about 8 dents and spider cracks at various points of impact. The convertible top is stained and discolored. I was fit to be tied! Insurance claim filed. I never thought eggs could cause so much damage. Must have been one helluva chicken...
Were they
hard boiled
to make so much damage? It's quite
easy
for a kid to throw an egg
over
your car. Over easy!!! Hey all yoking apart though, I bet you are
boiling
. Could have been worse, it could have happened at Easter. The devil himself made me say that.
Take it to a hailstone dent removal guy. They are good at what they do.
Nobody egged your car just the eggs returning to the mother of all the fried eggs being the 996 headlamps
we have to keep our humor about this when it is all said and done being upset will do no good that is unless you find those punks then let your anger out on them and don't hold back ha
Ours got egged years ago (teen girls driving around randomly egging people/cars/houses that the bastard cops refused to charge when they caught them
). The can do some serious damage to the paint if not cleaned up quick. The shells nicked up the paint on the wing pretty good too
That's terrible. I hope you're able to get everything back to normal with little or no out of pocket. I've had my fair share of dings and dents from careless people and just recently had my door kicked in while parked. Not a revenge thing, just someone passing by my parked car who decided it needed modification. The car was parked in an empty end of a shopping center parking lot, away from everyone else and taking up just one spot.
Sorry to hear about it - what jackasses!
That situation is one of the main reasons the Porsches always are parked in the garage, even the 944. It's normally a bunch of kids driving around randomly egging stuff, and when they see a Porsche of any kind, it's gonna get hit. I would at least use a car cover if it must sit outside (with no "Porsche" or crest emblazoned on it).
Where does this egging stuff originate, I'd never heard o it until recently on here! Growing up we never used to see car oriented vandalism however "keying" seems to be the favorite contemporary abuse seen around here.
Keying goes back at least to the early 90s in my area. I expect longer, but that's when I became aware of such things.
People have been egging houses forever and cars seems a logical extension of that act to me, but its not something I knew or thought of until we got hit in the early 00s.
Keying has been around in the UK probably since the nineties too, but over here, vandalism, violent crime and theft are fairly recent additions to the landscape.
Yeah, all the 993 guys that posted in JohnnyIrish's 996/993 Meet in the Middle thread on values. Jesus, you'd have thought he pissed on an American flag while fondling a 10 year old boy at a dog fight at Michael Vick's house the way you guys reacted.
Sorry to hear this zachsdad...I park mine outside, exclusively, as I have no garage. It sits about 14" from a busy sidewalk, and I have never had any troubles. Don't take it personally, just get it cleaned up and move on.
You definitely seem to show some restraint in handling this situation so kudos to you. Just wondering if you had any synthetic sealants or coatings on your car's body or your vert top? If not, I'm wondering if this could've prevented some of the damage created by the eggs. It maybe worth a shot to invest in some in case it happens again in the future(hopefully not).
Someone once egged my car in the dead of winter! Let me tell you how fun trying to clean frozen egg yolk off was.. Never did get all of it out of the window seals
I got egged once but was lucky enough to see it happen and immediately washed the car. It was a girl I had dated. Found her car sitting at somebodies house and had my friend bring his portable pneumatic lift and we removed all 4 wheels and placed them under the jack points before putting the car back down on top of them. Car didn't move for nearly a week.
Those Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!!
If I caught them doing it to mine ill tie them to the floorpan and do some very long elevensies
Actually no I wouldn't that's not nice
Id follow them see what theyre driving first.. cos if they owned a New 918 id probably leave the egg on there for as long as I can in reverence lol
