Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Ignore the noises...it simply means that the car will weigh less after you repair the drivetrain.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Redline the car while rolling backwards and slide your foot off the clutch while in 1st gear. Ignore the noises...it simply means that the car will weigh less after you repair the drivetrain.
Prior to launch lubricate the bi-directional thrust nozzel (see pic). A light spray of WD40 is OK but a thin coat of white moly lube yields a much better lubrication.
Best of luck and enjoy your car.
humm,
How about hold the rev's at 4000 rpm and side step the clutch (works on the 964), and is pretty easy to get a consistent bracket time once you get the feel for it.
(i have a good method for dirt tracking a 964 too
)
I tried all the recommendations above, and the service manager says I need a new clutch kit, cv joints, wheel bearings and some other things! I think it was the WD40 that did it - who would have thought these P-Zeros would hook up so well?
rofl. dub, just rev to 4k rpm and let the clutch out quickly (don't pop it/side step off it, but just lift your foot with vigor), i found i got the best launches like this, and consequently the best 1/4 mile times.
