Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My current set up is the X73 sport suspension from Porsche which was installed by the previous owner.

I run 235/315 Nankang AR1 all the time since the car is always in canyon run duty or track.

So I picked up a set of lightly used Ohlins for my C4S.

I am adding rear Tarett top mounts (the update comes with elephant racing fronts) front and rear Tarett adjustable links and the rear toe locking plates as recommended by Tarett.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So I picked up a set of lightly used Ohlins for my C4S. And yes, it has the recent update from Ohlins. I am adding rear Tarett top mounts (the update comes with elephant racing fronts) front and rear Tarett adjustable links and the rear toe locking plates as recommended by Tarett.
I drive my car on the weekends and track the car 4-5 weekends a year and am a PCA Instructor so have been at this gig for some time.
My current set up is the X73 sport suspension from Porsche which was installed by the previous owner. While a great set up for the street, I find it lacking at the track, especially at VIR, a track I frequent.
So my question is related to alignment recommendations. I want something relatively aggressive and have come up with this and I believe is the 996 GT2 spec:
Rear camber -1.8
total rear toe .33
Front caster 8.0
Front camber -1.0
total front toe .08
Thoughts?
I run -2.5* camber all the way around. I may staighten the front up a little when i do my ohlins in the spring, maybe -2.0. It handles fine on the street but will wear out tires much quicker. On the track it does great even over 130mph in the straights but i also have a full areo kit.
what tires are you running?
i'm at:
Front:
-.7 camber
+9.4 caster
0 toe
Rear:
-2.0 camber
.03 toe
This is with my revalved Bilstein PSS10, Tarrett links, RSS adjustable control arms, GT3 sways F/R
Thanks for the input. So 0 toe in front, that surprises me. I would have thought a little bit of toe out would help with turn in. On the tires, I have a set of R888rs for track and Sumis for the rest of the time. 235/315s on the Rs and 225/295 on the Sumis.
You know, i haven't really experimented for a long time partly because the guy who set it up races POC (and is a pretty fast guy -- owns an alignment shop). Also corner balanced with me in the car.
I run 235/315 Nankang AR1 all the time since the car is always in canyon run duty or track. Lucky to have both those here in SoCal very close by.
Im running below with Ohlins R&T update with Elephant plates on the front and Tarrett Drop links in the front.
Front: 18x8.5” ET42 with 245/40-18
Rear: 18x11” ET36 with 295/35-18
Rear camber -1.76
total rear toe .43
Front caster 7.55
Front camber -1.17
total front toe .06
Thinking I may go more aggressive on the camber now that I have the new front plates with more adjustment....2.0?
