Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Someone’s feeling the effects of solitary confinement...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeh, did some lesser traveled twisties. I have discovered alot of county blacktops that are testy. Social distancing from the patrol. Maybe I will get a detail for my birthday.

Ha! Right in my back yard!!! This is what I was talking about in that "how fast have you gone" thread...That one's gonna cost 'em big time. In Suffolk County we're no longer able to "plead down" traffic tickets either - you get what you get, + a hefty "surcharge"... I'd think 120 in a 55 is going to get them at least a $500 fine plus a $150 surcharge plus 3 pts. on their license - if they're able to keep it. Suspension is definitely in the offing if they've got prior offenses... ** It's funny, I was speaking to my son last night (He's in Chicago) and he was saying that the big light up signs on the freeway's out there say "Slow down this is not a racetrack" he said he was doing about 75 the other day and 3 cars (a Mercede's, a BMW and a Cadillac CTS-V) blew past him like he was standing still (he estimated at least 140)... Hmmm open highways...

POST 10Original post

I'm guessing none of them had active radar detector, which i don't really understand.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I routinely touch 140 mph, but only for a mile or so, just because i can. I have a couple of excuses lined up, but, i seriously doubt any of them will fly @ 140.

They (excuses) might fly out in Mo. but certainly not on the L.I.E... the road is a living breathing radar/laser trap. I've gotten speeders for 72 in a 55... it's a nightmare I tell ya! I wouldn't be surprised if those guys got taken away in handcuffs (normally they would, but the cop probably wanted to keep his distance) in normal times...

POST 13Original post

NJ Turnpike.....if you only go 100 you better be in the right lane....I agree L.I.E. is the last place i'd take my Porsche

^^^ Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of choice there are times/places where you can get away with a little, but it's not often, and the areas are VERY limited ("out East" is about it - East of Wm Floyd pkwy out to Riverhead - even then, it's risky). That being said, there are plenty of twisty back roads further East, but now they're full of walkers, runners and bicyclists... it's a friggin' nightmare!

POST 15Original post

i realized the same. Went on my normal back road twisty run and everyone was out walking or walking dogs, usually never see a single person.
