My dealer gave me a good offer on having my car run through the Silver Seal paint and interior protection program. Its still quite a lot of money, but he says its all worth it. Other dealers in the area use it too. Apparently its supposed to last at least a full year, but I wonder if anyone here has experience with it to share. Don't even think about it. Get a clear bra and some good sealant like klasse, zaino, blackfire or menzerna. No wiped on aftermarket protection will last for years. I bet thayt stuff last at most 6 weeks.

I agree 150% with JB's suggestion. Don't do it! They offer these things at such a high price to change the perception that these are unique products, made of the finest materials, and with great longevity. In reality they are nothing more special than the do-it-yourself high quality products already in the market, as JB has suggested. And IMHO there is a great sense of pride when you take care of your car by doing regular (as needed/desired) detailing.
