Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

The spacers are useless without buying longer bolts because you can't set the car down to see the wheels with the stock bolts.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I guess they could also be referred to as vagabond spacers. I sent a set of wheel spacers to someone in Texas( my country of origin) with the commitment that they would be used as a travelling set to allow people to see how they would look on their car before buying a set. They were not hub-centric so they caused shimmy and vibes. Just curious as to where they mighthave ended up?

POST 2Original post

I still have them. I am awaiting the install of new, bigger tires before I can really get a use out of them. I ordered one set of tires from Tirerack, but the size of the tires just weren't going to cut it (man are we limited on choices for 8.5/10/18 rims....) Just got the new set of tires today. But won't get them on until Sunday/Monday for logistical reasons (my 300C is getting some paint work done, and I need that car to get the tires to the shop). Also, I need to go and buy longer bolts. The spacers are useless without buying longer bolts because you can't set the car down to see the wheels with the stock bolts. I should be done with them in a week. Was there a time limit????

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Time limit, no way. I was just curious as to the where abouts. Kinda like the dollar bill with the writing on them. I am really glad they are being put to good use and happy you are spending money keeping the food chain going. Sounds like you are doing some cool mods, good luck. As far as tire sizes; BTDT. Crummy choices.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

P.S. Hope the 300C paint turns out.
