Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all. First Porsche in my garage is a 1999 C2. The lugs are pretty rough and rusty. Ive ordered black lug bolts from ECS Tuning to replace these unsightly lugs. Im guessing there should be no problem swapping them out one by one without having to put the car on a jack? Appreciate any tips on swapping the lug bolts. Thanks all

POST 2Original post

Make sure you have a long enough socket that keeps the wrench from hitting the wheel when you turn it. Easy way to damage the rim.

POST 3Original post

You do not need to jack up the car if you are swapping them out one by one. Make sure you get the correct torque on each one.
