Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have a funny issue on my 99 C2 and I am not having much luck searching, maybe it is due to terminology.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a funny issue on my 99 C2 and I am not having much luck searching, maybe it is due to terminology. I'll do my best to describe the issue. My car's steering has started to feel different. I can only describe it as a lack of feedback, very similar to the way my old 89 ford pickup used to drive. The wheel turns super easy, and feels like the hydraulic system is either on or off, with no nuance to the steering feeling. Occasionally, it will stop and the car feels connected again, but soon it returns to feeling light again. It felt great when I got it but I am wondering if these Atlanta pot holes have done something to the front suspension. It does not feel loose like worn tie rods, the problem feels like a hydraulic problem. Before I go throwing money at it, has anyone experienced this and can you tell me some usual suspects to check?

Reservoir is full beyond the hot mark, but did notice tiny sparkles. Seems unusual.
