Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Mine as well - there's the initial light at startup, but no further issues due to the fixed spoiler.
As the title says, I'm hoping some folks here can snap a photo of the underside of the rear trunk lid and the engine bay. I'm trying to determine if Aero Kit cars are supposed to have a snorkel attachment on the trunk lid for the air intake.
Mine currently doesn't have it but I know non-Aero cars do so I'm trying to see if mine is correct.
Thanks.
Yes they do have a small attached snorkel. I have an upgraded air box so i am not sure exactly what was totally there from the factory. But the small snorkel is there.
I will try to remember to snap a pic for you.
yeah, did it with the new AOS, motor and tranny mounts, clutch, RMS, LN IMS, and oil filler tube. Drives like it just came off the Oakland Porsche showroom, almost a decade ago.
have struts on both sides, just changed them out. Kept hitting my head on the lid as it would fall just at the right time to conk me on the noggin. Got them from pelican in a trice.
You have the snorkel - you're just missing the bellows for the underside of the deck lid that the snorkel mates to when you shut the lid...
I realize you know you're missing the part that attaches to the deck lid - but ordering a new snorkel may yield the wrong part.
I keep a LED flashlight in the frunk. The cover and light assembly was missing when I bought the car and I haven't had the chance to go to the dismantler in Rocky Mount, NC to buy one.
No, I couldn't find my black ones so I robbed these from my son's tackle box.
No need to buy a Porsche specific one. Many have same dimensions and fit. I would just get one of the LED panel versions off eBay.
Doing interior LED conversions aren't usually at the top of my priority list but in the case of Porsche and their weak batteries(or batteries dying easily from sitting), it gave me a good enough reason to replace all mine with LED's. Now I can actually peak under the hood without burning my head and don't get as bothered with the door lights staying on for awhile.
Follow up question for the aero kit folks:
Does your spoiler warning light come back on at speeds over 65 mph? Mine turns off after I start the car (at around 4 mph) but then comes back on at 65 and stays until I shut off the car. This doesn't seem normal to me for an aero kit.
FWIW, my car is factory coded with the XAA aero kit so it's not like it was a conversion.
