Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Make sure you check the laws for all the states you'll be traveling through - radar detectors aren't 50-state legal, and it would suck to get a ticket for not speeding.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
I believe this is due to some kind of massive ego blow that renders dudes driving Priuses, Miatas, and anything equipped with a child seat especially vulnerable, and the survival instinct is to puff out the chest and try to salvage some shred of macho dignity.
Outcome qualification: Negation, uncertainty or missing explicit repair resolution overrides the raw extraction signal.

First stop is Herb Chambers porsche in Boston for a complete fluids change check tire pressure is and go through the car for the trip.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Yeah, on the way into Canada customs was tough but we were staying at the falls and had already booked the reservations for 300.00 so she let use through.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
34 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hey All,
Long time lurker and first time owner of a 2005 996 4S off of craigslist in boston, At the airport now and will be doing it back from new hampshire to minneapolis...wish me luck as this has 30K miles and is all stock I.E. original IMS
Sorry Have to get posting pictures
Check out the creeper in the VW. Why does he have a half-lion face? *edit* Zooming in, I realize it's just a shadow cast by what must be an enormous nose.
Car looks great, I hope you got a huge discount for the deployed airbag on passenger side. Please post pictures of the "will be doing it back from new hampshire to minneapolis" part!
Surely you really checked things over before leaving? Year model and mileage puts you in the higher 10% failure range. Be cautious and make frequent stops to check everything. Nice C4S!
First stop is Herb Chambers porsche in Boston for a complete fluids change check tire pressure is and go through the car for the trip. Good timing as I'm waiting for my babes to fly in from Minneapolis to help with the driving.
As soon as she gets here we're gonna head over to a Mediterranean restaurant around the corner, although I may regret that decision in the car later
Debating a visit to a Niagara Falls for the next leg of the journey.
I know based on the year of the car and the mileage I'm probably within the 10% that will have to worry about the IMS bearing. I've asked her chambers to go through the car and look in the oil for any potential metal particles. Fingers crossed
Well I wait might as well enjoy one of her chambers stale chocolate muffins.
Looking good and welcome. Safe travels. Do you have a radar? I'm sure you'll want to stretch out your legs a few times. You've got some good ground to cover. I love road trips, keep us posted.
I also recommend using Waze. Got a ticket the other week around the corner from my house. My radar did not pick up the cop but the cop's location had been tagged in Waze. Of course, I was not actually running Waze at the time because I was just going to get gas.

JohnIreland would not approve of her wristwear.
Public service announcement: Chicks and 911s, completely safe when handled individually, combine to form some kind of phero-mechanical kryptonite that most men cannot refuse. You've been warned. Dudes will follow your woman, try to race your woman, and otherwise make pathetic attempts at being suave WITH YOUR WOMAN. I believe this is due to some kind of massive ego blow that renders dudes driving Priuses, Miatas, and anything equipped with a child seat especially vulnerable, and the survival instinct is to puff out the chest and try to salvage some shred of macho dignity. There may be some pathetic attempt at small talk - "Hey, baby, what you got in that thing" - but if she counters with raw data and a bit of cruelty - "It's a 3.6 liter flat six making about 320 at the crank, you scrawny little man-bitch. Now go home and scramble some eggs for that sniveling turd of yours in the back seat", for example - she should be able to slam the f**k out of that door.
You, on the other hand, are in the superior position of having a chick AND a sports car. This renders you nearly invincible. Only if you grew a third nut would you feel manlier. So congrats on that.
DISCLAIMER: My advice is almost universally considered flawed and may result in your *** being kicked - so you may want to request that the lady tempers the degree of harshness to suit your ability to not get whupped.
Ok, WTH not everyone but a few idiots want to race and the others turn there hi-beams on after we pass them??? Oh and the waze app is flipping awesome. Saved our butts a few times
Well said, can't get any better than that! Plus its a proper 6 speed
I would be the one to follow her, not for small talk, but to give her props! I like how we are talking about the woman, not the car haha! Now where can I find a woman that likes Porsches, can drive a manual, and doesn't want children?
Have a safe trip, no lugging that engine! Keep the RPMs high!
we made it to Niagara Falls and about midnight and everything was closed down except for the casinos but we were lucky more able to find an open bar and have some drinks
View from the room of the falls
The other falls at sunrise
As a sidenote we took the shortcut from Niagara Falls over to Detroit we were pulled out of the car and the car was completely searched. we were also grilled with questions about our citizenship next time take a passport.
Yeah, on the way into Canada customs was tough but we were staying at the falls and had already booked the reservations for 300.00 so she let use through. The way into buffalo was tougher and they searched the car and asked many questions about work, were I were born..etc. only having owned the car for a day who knows the history but they gave the car a full cavity search and brought a dog over.
Home safe 1248 miles from Niagara Falls and just got done cleaning the bugs off of her Her
