Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It is fitted for a C6, but as you can see, fits a C4S just fine.

I don't want to get it replaced now and park it for a few months.

Cleaning out the radiators and replacing the hood latch + actuator.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Real salty here. Done for another season. Figured it be fun to post our winter resting photos (Tinker Time). Post away.
Please excuse profanity. Dad passed away and I didnt have the heart to chuck his prize Domican Woman and wife wasnt having it in the house. Actually mom was glad to see it go to.

Cleaning out the radiators and replacing the hood latch + actuator. I also took the opportunity to reroute the emergency cable to be accessible from the bottom of the front bumper. Oh - and I replaced my crumbling headlight seals with the bulk seal from McMaster.
So lonely.
Currently working on putting the OEM radio and climate back up top (removed a previous owner installed double din) and a GT3 lower console delete. Also bought a new radiator since the drivers side has a leak. I'll drop it off for replacement once the weather starts to turn. I don't want to get it replaced now and park it for a few months. I want to be able to drive it and know that took care of the issue.

Placed it in its new home and will wait for better weather to install new hoses, water pump, IMS solutions, main seal, clutch, Brambacher oil pan, ( a recent oil analysis had no deficiencies but a bore score look before installing pan would be smart ) all of which is now sitting on the garage workbench, and perhaps an order for a UAOS, aluminum radiators, some braided stainless steel brake lines, and a brake flush, all to be completed before taking a pleasant drive top-down up to Maine before some other freaking cosmic disturbances that mandate non-electric cars to wear diapers.

At least the days are getting longer and the vaccine numbers are increasing.
My car resides in a 55F heated garage, and yes, Ill be taking her out here and there when dry out.
Gotta make the most of it - I am trying to do a lot of stuff I would only do if the car was down for a while. Seats are out and I'm tearing apart the interior, never want to do that stuff when its nice cause I don't want to rush to put it back together. Safety stuff for the track, making sure my harnesses are mounted exactly as I want, re-routing wiring and making stuff more easily serviceable. None of this is glamorous or really easy to do until you really dig into it - winters a good time for it...
I can also start projects I don't have all the parts I need to complete and figure it out as I go getting exactly the right thing without having to compromise due to time constraints - no real deadline.

I just ordered an 80,000 BTU heater that Ill hang from the ceiling of my garage. That should help keep things nice and toasty in there for some winter therapy wrench turning.
This was just after installing rebuilt roof cylinders and reinstalling freshly refurbished and powdercoated wheels. Other winter projects have included a short shifter install, console restoration, and next up is a passenger side window regulator replacement. The cover goes on between projects.
