My OBD reader apparently doesn't read Porsche, am preparing to clean ws sensors (bad in 45,000?), looking for ideas.

Also, I pulled the fuses (ABS,PSM) and test drove, no difference.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

'02 996 2wd, 45,000 miles. 3-4 miles from the house the car started bogging, thought it was a flat, in 20-30-yards looking for a drive way to turn into the brakes came on more and more. By the time I stopped the ABS lite and PSM lite came on, with "drive to garage". I have searched and found plenty, but no one has the brakes engaging. After sitting a couple hours the brakes ease off, but not completely, and clamp down in a matter of yards. My OBD reader apparently doesn't read Porsche, am preparing to clean ws sensors (bad in 45,000?), looking for ideas. Also, I pulled the fuses (ABS,PSM) and test drove, no difference. Fluid is full, brake pedal feels taught, less free play at the top than normal. Any thoughts appreciated
