Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was frustrated with the U.S. spec wiring of my utility trailer;
There are only two red lights at the back of the trailer. They come on when you brake, one side blinks for a turn signal. So instead, I finally wired my trailer to have discreet amber turn signals, two stage parking/brake lights. Heres a video of the test;

and finally a picture of the set up in a parking lot:
Thanks, I'm a big fan of the stock wheels on the GT3. It has extensive suspension/safety bolt ons, otherwise completely factory.
I have done a few track events this month -and a couple more scheduled but I am not doing them as often as I used to.
I love the trailer set up, just don't understand why more people don't want amber turn signals, big peeve of mine. Important I think, as when loaded, the trailer blocks factory lights almost completely.
It’s a Willwood hitch from

When not in use, it sits completely behind the bumper, pretty trick set up.

It’s only been a few months, it was the right car from a friend.
It’s a 2004 (as the vast majority of 996 GT3s are), and just shy of 90k miles. It is a fantastic car, lovely! I feel like these cars -996s in general- are at a sweet spot of reliability and simplicity. DIY friendly yet sophisticated...
J Berk, it’s great to be able carry stuff outside the car, as I’m sure you’re aware. I was thinking about carrying my bike there instead of on a roof rack but lately it’s easier to just take the other car. Still, the trailer makes things a lot easier and cleaner. Shorter time to pack for events also.
