Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well after much procrastinating as of late, today I got around to the task of changing my aos out. A few expletives mumbled and laughing from time to time I'm happy to have it over with.

POST 2Original post

Expletives, mumbling, laughing. Mods: please move this thread to the Reefer Madness forum.

POST 3Original post

Did you drop your engine to swap out the AOS, and how long minus the laughing spells did it take you?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did drop the engine and it helped gaining clearance to work. In fact I dropped it twice........I had the car on jack stands and the rear left tire off, when I went to do the work from below the car wasn't high enough so I remounted the engine, raised the car and dropped the motor again. Lesson learned was jack it up high enough so you can crawl under it. Actual work time was @ 5 hours.
