When I sent my OEM mufflers to FisterD in Calif for my core charge, Darin said they were too rusted around their seams for him to reuse with another customer. My Porsche started out on the Cape and has been in Maine since 06', and I did the hack 2 tears ago. So, that would be about 10 years, but they had no holes or perforations at that time.
