Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Does anybody make any ODB2 Software -- that will allow you to program stuff... like your windows roll up and down with the key fob... I use this software on my Audi... http://www.ross-tech.com/index.html

POST 2Original post

In the most simple answer to your question - no. The Durametric software and OBDII connecting cable does allow one to monitor many aspects of the engine controls and reset codes thrown by the DME. The Porsche PWSII used at dealers and some independent shops is very expensive and beyond the reach of the basic enthusiast. It can "program" many aspects of your car beyond just system diagnostics, but I'm not really sure what all they can program. I do like the computer aspects of my Mini Cooper. It does have a lot of convenience options to program...lights, blinkers, locks, air con auto settings, etc.. I guess Porsche kept it on the KISS principal...keep it simple stupid. And that I like.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Crap... I was hoping there was a VAG type tool for p-cars

POST 4Original post

Porsche uses the PWS as another Revenue source for Dealers. They effectively lock out the enthusiast.
