I restart, with foot on gas, and run engine at 2500 rpm or so for 4-5 minutes.

This has happened twice in the last few weeks. Engine is running fine and I stall it due to poor clutch work. Starts right back up but immediately dies as soon as it returns to idle. This happens several times. I restart, with foot on gas, and run engine at 2500 rpm or so for 4-5 minutes. Then it runs fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris.
