Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

For a bone stock Carrera, what size wheel spacers shift the wheels out just right to fill the wheels nicely. It won't take much, I know. It would be great to see some profile picks showing results to go with those size specs. It's about the only mod it would consider.
Tires make a HUGE difference. In my case with PZeros, a 15mm front and 7mm rear spacer gives it the perfect look. Tires are 225 and 285 widths on factory 18s. Same size tire/wheel/offset but with Sumitomo HTRZ3 looked bad. I at first tried the larger spacer at the rear which brought the tire past the lip, putting larger spacer at front made it all work great.
Interesting on the tires influence. I'm running 295 and 225. My sense is your 7mm and 15 mm is dead on for rear and front respectively as I look at how much my wheels are in set in the wheel well. Since I am new to spacers, would like to know how to install...do they require different lugs or are there enough thread length to simply install and reassemble(?)
Longer lugs. And different lengths front to back. I got my spacers from adaptec, new lug bolts included in price. My old ones were starting to look pretty bad. Keep a set in the car though for the spare! The nominal tire size is less important than the actual tire width. I'll bet a 295 Sumitomo is actually narrower than a 285 Pirelli when looking at them side by side.
Happy with 15mm on all four corners. MY02 C2
- RoW M030 suspension
- 18" Rims
- Yoko AD07 225/40 & 285/30 had slight rubbing at full lock in reverse
- Mich Super Sport 225/40 & 285/35 - no issues
The lower you go, the bigger the wheel spacer you can fit. Camber change is significant on the 996.
Now this is with turbo wheels on a C2, but you get the idea of how much the tires will tuck as the car goes low:

I have 18" hollow spokes and ordered some Adaptec 7mm front / 15mm rear spacers. I'll take some before and after pics and post them (they get here Thursday!)
I'm still on stock C4S suspension.
It all just depends on what you like. One man's perfect look might look terrible to another guy. I agree with the comments on the tires. I run Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s and they look much better than Sumitomos.
I have Michelin PS2 with 18" factory wheels and I put H&R 7mm front with 15mm rears with 225s and 285s respectively on a 2002 C4 Cab. Does fill the wheel well nicely with lowered PSS10s.
Do one side first, lower it down, look at it and then try it with the larger spacer in front and the thinner one in back. On mine it ended up looking much better, i.e. perfect.
