Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

If you find that you have to replace the assembly and then notice the price on those things...a toothpick and some carefully applied epoxy or JBWeld should be sufficient to keep the nozzle tip from shooting out of the hole in the future.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the double nozzle type on my 2001 996... Sunday I was messing around with the windshield washers and activated them for the first time. I subsequently found out that the passanger side had one of the two nozzel/***** popped clear out of the mechanism and bounced off the windshield and back onto the road in front of me! I found the nozzle/ball and popped it back in... I had my girlfriend activate the system while I was standing in front of the washer mechanism and it popped right back out! Can the individual parts be replaced or do I need to buy the whole new assembly, can we get individual components? I don't know if the mechanism is damaged or what might be broken... they all look the same! I will try to take a picture and see if anyone can get me a diagnosis by Internet! *
