These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thankyou
Matt
i do yes,,,i tried catching what i could when i undid the hoses etc,, did spill some when i removed rads etc but there cant be more than 2-3 litres i caught and thinking about it not a lot came out the hoses at all but had the car 18 months and no over heating plus fans kicked in fine

If you park the car nose down on a steep hill then lift the coolant relief. Leave the engine lid open and warm the car up you just may get more air out of the system as air comes to the highest point which would be the coolant tank filler. Or jack the back end of the car up as high as possible and do the same thing in your driveway.
Cheers for that folks,,i jacked it up today ,,ran it upto temp occasionally revving upto 4-5k shut off and left it a few hours ,dropped it down again and coolant had dropped so managed to get some more in,,took it for a drive (bleeder valve still up) pulled over and checked bottom rad hoses and cold so guessing still some air in though (although again turning the heater blower on full again and once back home pipes were hot again,,can anyone explain that bit for me ? ),,,i gues il just keep repeating the jacking car up method for a fe more days and see if it will take anymore coolant as so far this is the only method ive managed to get anymore into the system
