Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Wound up having to stay two extra days (and spend $700 to replace a $125 part) and was back on the road home.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A funny (now) story about my first long trip in the C4S:
It's been three months and over 5,000 miles since I got my C4S. So far I hadnt had any issues so I figured I'd take it down to Cincinnati from Kalamazoo which is about 300 mi. The roads up here are junk so I planned on taking my buddy on a trip to Rabbit Hash in NKY which has some fantastic twisties.
Get down there Thursday night with no issues. Friday we get on the road to Kentucky, my friend is driving and I'm giving him the spiel on the car (particularly how you need to push the brakes a bit harder since there are no servos).
Everything is cool until we get a "low brake fluid" message. We pull over and I check the fluid... all gone. Get in the drivers seat and the pedal just falls to the floor! I asked him if it had been been that way since we started, he says "yea, you told me the brakes were funny"
After we get some fluid in (was hoping I had just neglected to check before leaving) I can hear it spilling out onto the ground. It was now 3:00 on a Friday so I made the call to nurse it into the dealer. Long story short, one of the hard brake lines had corroded and was leaking. Wound up having to stay two extra days (and spend $700 to replace a $125 part) and was back on the road home.
Never did get down to those twisties.
What do you mean "no servos"? As in no power brakes?
Brake fluid doesn't just "go" somewhere like washer fluid. It stays in the system until you replace it. If you think you are supposed to be topping it off constantly in any car, no, that's not correct.
Sorry to hear about the trip interruption. Seeing that you've only owned the car for a few months I am surprised that a visual inspection didn't pick up the signs of corrosion in the brake line. Also making me believe the dealer when they told me the importance of a brake fluid flush every two years; prevents damage to the brake system from moisture - not saying that's what caused your issue.
Glad you were able to get her fixed and avoided a potential catastrophe. Can't imaging losing my brakes as I've become so accustomed to depending upon them.
Brake fluid is cheap and changing is an easy DIY job. A job that should IMHO be done every 30 thousand or so, same as the coolant. Every 15 thousand if you feel like it lol.
