Reported cause
It' not clear to me this code is due to the module not recognizing the transponder pill.

Suggestion
I don't have an answer to your voltage question but that code is complaining about the connections between the DME and the alarm (not about the transponder coil) so I would suggest checking all the fuses relevant to the DME and the alarm and physically check the alarm connectors as well.
Leading evidence: 'module not recognizing the transponder pill' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'module not recognizing the transponder pill' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check alarm connectors as well' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Like the title says, my car didn't start today after lunch time.
Had it flatbedded home after trying a another key.
Pulled codes with durametric DME fault code P1571 was active.
For some reason I could not get the durametric to connect to alarm codes.
Alarm works so I think that the module is ok.
I took out the key cylinder from ignition and measured the resistance on the Inductive coil. Result was 24ohms and manual says 25, so it's ok.
Next I measured the voltage from the connector that goes in to inductive coil.
Got only 2,2volt's when the connector was open. When I put the connector back,
voltage drops to 0,3v so I think that it's not what it supposed to be.
Took the connector of from signal converter and it sees 12v from the alarm unit (not sure where it gets feed)
Wires from converter to coil is ok, so I think that the converter is gone.
So the question is, how much voltage should go to coil?
And if the converter is broken, can it be changed with out PST2 or Piwis programming.
Nice way to spend Friday by the way

Thanks Ahsai, that case was slightly diffrent thou. His car was cranking, so the immob fault code might be an old one. But I will check the wiring tomorrow.
On durametric home page is mentioned that if the alarm box is broken, you can not connect to DME.
Thats why I started with the key and ignition parts.
By chance did it ever get wet down under the driver's seat from any flood or rain situation? The alarm brain box also has it's own fuse you can check as well.
It sounds like your alarm isn't recognizing your pill for some reason. The pill in your key only affects starting and doesn't affect other alarm functions like arming/locking/etc. which is the key head itself.
Sorry for the confusion and I realized your symptoms are diff. I was just trying to refer to Loren's post #7 that says:
"P1571 Immobilizer - Open Circuit / No Sign Possible causes: - Open circuit in wiring between DME / no signal. control module and alarm system. - Short circuit to ground or short circuit to B+. - Alarm system control module faulty. "
So it seems that this code points to the connection between the DME and the alarm control module. It' not clear to me this code is due to the module not recognizing the transponder pill.
alpine, no rain or flood damages while in my posession. Car is origally sold to Italy and I have very litle info from that period. But there is no corrosion on wiring harness so I think that there hasn't been such damage.
ahsai, yes I read that loren's post. And knew that, that was the purpose of your link.
For some reason, I thought that the DME code was "something is wrong with the immobilizer".
And the true alarm codes can be read from the alarm module, which I can't read with my durametric.
So it's possible that the alarm module is broken.
I will look those wirings and alarm module next.
Solved!
Previous owner had installed a satellitetracking system to car. Took the whole system of becouse it was not working any more.
I think that it blocked the immobilizer, it was connected to main wire harness.
Anyways car works again.
If someone has wiring diagram for Viasat VS3 system, please link here.
Just to make sure that the problem was that and not some contact failure in the connectors that were off when I did the trouble shooting.
Thanks, and so true on the aftermarket electronics.
Haven't find no info on this system.
This is the manufacturers site.

No info there either.
Here is the pile of wires and electronics that I pulled of the car
