Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I had installed the side skirts and bumper from the 996.1 aero with the 996.2 wing.

Ive had my 996 C4 for almost 6 years and Im debating selling it. Have spent a ton of money on maintenance and upgrades. I know Ill never see that money back but I think the time has come to move on. I love the analog and old school 911 feel but its quickly becoming a garage queen.
Recently bought a 981 Cayman S and Ive been spoiled with its superior quality and performance over the 996. Should I just keep it mostly as a garage queen or move on? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.
The newer being the operative word. You could argue the merits of both sides from here to eternity. Technically speaking, every year or generation of P-Cars are better than the previous year/generation. Are the air-cooled crowd selling their 964s and 993s and buying 996s because the 996 out performed them in every measurable way ? Nah... you hang on to and drive these cars because you bond with them, and love them... If you dont, let it go to someone who will. Great looking car btw, should bring a decent price (but probably not what youve got into it...). Good luck
Nice looking 996
With 996 values way up, its a great time to sell.
Or maybe this is just the beginning and prices will continue to rise.
Or maybe theyll plummet as the world returns to normal 🤷♂️
If you're thinking about selling I would bet that now is the best time to sell. Since COVID started, decent 996 prices were high teens to mid 20's. Now they seem to be mid 20's - low 30's and that's for the C2 model. As we come out of COVID there is chance that prices could dip. We could be seeing the highest 996 peak for quite some time.
+1 for "sell". Personally I hope to keep mine forever (bought JUST before prices went up last year, whew!) but I don't have another P-car. My Subaru isn't quite as fun on pavement.
Great looking 996! If it's necessary financially or you need the space it's taking up; then sell. If you still get enjoyment out of it and it's not hurting anything where it is, then keep it. Two Porsche's are better than one!
Yes, its a bit different. I had installed the side skirts and bumper from the 996.1 aero with the 996.2 wing. Im not a fan of the taco wing from the 996.1 Also had the roof painted gloss black which ended up giving a targa look🤷🏻♂️
